GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These General Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the mobile application operated by Rentry Group B.V. (“Rentry”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the application (the “App”), you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
Applicability and Acceptance
1.1 These Terms apply to all use of the App and any services or features provided through the App.
1.2 These Terms incorporate by reference any additional rules, redemption conditions, or policies published by Rentry in connection with the App (“Program Rules”). Such Program Rules form part of these Terms and may be updated from time to time.
Use of the App
2.1 The App is provided to you free of charge.
2.2 The App may only be used by individuals who are at least 18 years old. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2.3 Your right to use the App is personal, non-transferable, and revocable.
2.4 Rentry may suspend, modify, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice and without liability.
2.5 You may not misuse the App, including but not limited to attempting to manipulate the points system, providing false or misleading information (for example, fake rent payment confirmations), reverse engineering, or engaging in any unlawful activity.
2.6 The App and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Rentry does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, nor that all information in the App, including Partner Offers, descriptions, or availability, is complete, accurate, or up to date. Rentry may correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and may update or withdraw information, Partner Offers, or points awards at any time without prior notice and without liability.
Points System and Verification
3.1 Points may be awarded to Users for certain actions, as described in the App (for example, proving timely rent payment or meeting other eligibility criteria). You must ensure that all information you provide in connection with the points is complete, accurate, and up to date at all times.
3.2 Rentry has sole and full discretion to determine which actions generate points, the number of points awarded, and whether points are granted. Rentry may also impose limits on the number of points that can be earned, redeemed, or held in your account at any time.
3.3 Points are not legal tender, have no monetary value, and create no property rights. They may not be purchased, sold, transferred, assigned, or otherwise exchanged by the User. Rentry may impose limits on the number of points that can be earned or redeemed within a certain period, may require additional proof or verification before awarding or redeeming points, and may revoke, adjust, or cancel points or redemptions at any time, including retroactively, in case of error, misuse, suspected fraud, or if the underlying conditions are not met.
3.4 Rentry’s records and administration are final and conclusive with respect to the number of points earned and the validity of any redemptions.
Partner Offers
4.1 Certain discounts, benefits, or advantages may be made available through the App (“Partner Offers”). Partner Offers are provided solely by independent third parties (“Partners”).
4.2 Rentry is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, the quality, performance, availability, or fulfilment of any Partner Oer or any agreement between you and a Partner.
4.3 Rentry may add, modify, suspend, or remove Partner Oers at any time without liability to you, and makes no guarantees regarding the availability, continuity, or existence of any Partner Oer.
4.4 Rentry makes no representation or warranty that any particular Partner Oer will remain available for any period of time. Partner Oers may be changed or withdrawn at any time, without liability.
Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, applications, or services. Rentry does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of such third parties. Use of third-party services is at your own risk, and any terms and conditions of those third parties will apply.
Privacy and Data Use
6.1 The processing of personal data in connection with the App is described in our Privacy Statement, which is available : www.rentry.app/privacy-policy.
6.2 Rentry may share limited personal data with Partners where strictly necessary for redemption of a Partner Offer.
Intellectual Property
7.1 All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and content, belong exclusively to Rentry or its licensors.
7.2 You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
7.3 You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the App or any part of it.
Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentry is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profit, goodwill or data.
8.2 Rentry is, in principle, not liable for any direct damages. If and to the extent such exclusion is not legally enforceable, Rentry’s liability for direct damages shall in any case be limited to a maximum of fifty euros (€50) per incident and per calendar year. In particular, Rentry is not responsible for the availability, quality, or execution of Partner Oers, nor for minor interruptions or errors in the functioning of the App.
8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for damages caused by intent or gross negligence of Rentry.
Account Suspension and Termination
9.1 Rentry may suspend or terminate your account or revoke points if you breach these Terms, misuse the App, or if there is suspected fraud.
9.2 Rentry may also terminate your account at any time for convenience, subject to 14 days’ notice. During this period you may still use any valid points you have collected.
9.3 Termination does not give rise to any right of compensation.
Amendments to the Terms
10.1 Rentry may amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published in the App.
10.2 If the amendments materially a ect your rights, you will be notified at least [30] days before they take e ect. If you do not agree, you may stop using the App and close your account before the new Terms apply.
10.3 Continued use of the App after the e ective date of amended Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
Miscellaneous
11.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and e ect.
11.2 The failure of Rentry to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
12.2 Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
